We meet on Monday evenings at a variety of places at St Mark.  We do not allow for guests or visitors to drop in on an ad-hoc basis for the meetings. Working with members of the congregation &/or the community we value & practice confidentiality in every thing that we do as we are talking (minus names & specific details) about sensitive issues that our Care Receivers are going through. Prior to admission we interview all prospective Stephen Ministry candidates & then they are going to go through 50 hours of initial training before they would join the full group.

To request help from a Stephen Minister, or to find out about becoming one, please contact Janet Breum at revsbreum@comcast.net or Ian Griffith at ianhgriffith@me.com.

Pastor Breum's Adult Bible Study will start on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  Location will be based on the number attending but we are currently meeting in the library.  All are welcome.  Call the church office for more information (847) 356-8140.

Growing in Christ Spring Book Selection

We are a small group for singles, parents, grandparents and seniors.

Thaddeus Wiliams presents in a layman's format the Biblical and secular worldviews of injustice without

compromising the truth as defined in the Bible and how we are to "truly execute justice" as God commands.

In addition, we will be viewing videos by the author discussing the 12 questions we are to ask.  It is well researched and footnoted for those who want more in depth background.

If you just want to join us and watch the videos, you will gain a clearer understanding of just what the difference is between social justice and biblical justice.

So, if you want to either drop in or join us now, let me know and I can send you our Zoom link.  Hope you can join us for an insightful discussion and prayer on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm. starting March 17th.

If you either have questions or want to join the discussion, please contact Barb Ewert, b1182ray@aol.com.  Please Text/call 847-514-5487.

"Devote yourself to prayer"!

Hosted by Pam Burke  (pamelaburke02@gmail.com)

Saturdays throughout the year the Men's Saturday Morning Bible Study meets at 7:00 AM in St Mark's library.   Meetings consist of prayer, bible study and fellowship.  They do not meet on the 2nd Saturday. Please check with either Dan or Gary regarding exact time and place during the Covid-19 pandemic. Contact Dan Kwiatkowski - quietone272@gmail.com or Gary Olson - olson1014@yahoo.net

Our monthly Men's Ministry is called "H.I.S. Ministry" we began in September of 2018, our vision is to simply create an environment where men sharpen each other, just like Proverbs 27:17- “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend”. Our 3 key principles helped us name the ministry:   H - Humility, I - Integrity, and S - Spirituality.

As none of us have room for boasting, we should surely have a servant's heart (Humility).  We must also be honest and always take the higher moral ground (Integrity).  Above all else, we need to accept and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour for daily help and eternal salvation (Spirituality).  When we get these things right, we can have a positive impact on our families and our communities where we live, work and serve.   We always have room for one more man (age 15+). Contact Jerry Doran (847) 271-8632 or email ministry2everyman@gmail.com for more details.  Men's Ministry meets on the 2nd Saturday of the month.
