We meet on Monday evenings at a variety of places at St Mark.  We do not allow for guests or visitors to drop in on an ad-hoc basis for the meetings. Working with members of the congregation &/or the community we value & practice confidentiality in every thing that we do as we are talking (minus names & specific details) about sensitive issues that our Care Receivers are going through. Prior to admission we interview all prospective Stephen Ministry candidates & then they are going to go through 50 hours of initial training before they would join the full group.

To request help from a Stephen Minister, or to find out about becoming one, please contact Janet Breum at revsbreum@comcast.net or Ian Griffith at ianhgriffith@me.com.

Pastor Breum's Adult Bible Study will start on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  Location will be based on the number attending but we are currently meeting in the library.  All are welcome.  Call the church office for more information (847) 356-8140.

There are two women's studies on Wednesday.  Both studies are in depth and include video teaching, discussion, and prayer time.  The studies include self study sessions at home each week. We meet for 2-3 studies during the school year. Come and be blessed!

Growing in Christ, is a small group for singles, parents, grandparents and seniors.

This fall we had planned to read Dr. Glenn Sunshine and Timothy D. Padgett, The Image Restored, the Imago Dei and Creation, 20211 and discussing what it means to be human. Due to the heavy demand, this newer edition will not be available until mid-October. So we are reading the 2013 edition, The Image of God. Dr. Sunshine looks at fourteen aspects of the image of God, what it has meant in history, and its implications for today.

The 2013 edition of the Image of God is available from Amazon either in paperback, $9.99 or a Kindle format for $4.99.

Each chapter relates to a particular facet of the image of God and therefore stands alone. So, if you want to either drop in or join us now, let me know and I can send you our Zoom link.  Hope you can join us for an insightful discussion and prayer on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm.

If you either have questions or want to join the discussion, please contact Barb Ewert, b1182ray@aol.com.  Please Text/call 847-514-5487.

If you still want the new 2021 edition, The Image Restored, the Imago Dei and Creation, it is on backorder at Christian Books: Paperback $8.00.

Glenn Sunshine is a Professor Emeritus of History at Central Connecticut State University and a Senior Faculty Member of the Colson Fellows. Our monthly Men's ministry is called "H.I.S. Ministry" we began in September of 2018, our vision is to simply create an environment where men sharpen each other, just like Proverbs 27:17- “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend”. Our 3 key principles helped us name the ministry:   H - Humility, I - Integrity, and S - Spirituality.

As none of us have room for boasting, we should surely have a servant's heart (Humility).  We must also be honest and always take the higher moral ground (Integrity).  Above all else, we need to accept and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour for daily help and eternal salvation (Spirituality).  When we get these things right, we can have a positive impact on our families and our communities where we live, work and serve.   We always have room for one more man (age 15+). Contact Jerry Doran (847) 271-8632 or email ministry2everyman@gmail.com for more details.  Men's Ministry meets on the 2nd Saturday of the month.
